Nazeeh Tarsha replaces Johnny Yong Bosch. Part of an entirely new English cast for the remake; ATLUS confirmed the Japanese cast is unchanged.
Yu Narukami in Persona 4 Revival
The player character, a second-year high school student from the city who moves to the rural town of Inaba for one year, lives with his uncle's family, enrols at Yasogami High and comes to lead the classmates who begin looking into the town's murder case.

Persona awakening remains hand-drawn animation
The remake keeps traditional anime animation for the protagonist's Persona awakening rather than converting it to in-engine 3D as Persona 3 Reload did. All animated cutscenes are produced by studio MAPPA.
