Persona 4 Golden Fusion Chart
Which arcana a fusion produces is settled before levels enter the picture: two arcana in, one arcana out. This is that whole table for Persona 4 Golden — a full 24×24 grid of 576 cells (300 unique pairings, shown from both directions), generated from the same data file the fusion calculator runs on.
How to read it
Find the arcana of your first persona in the left-hand column and the arcana of your second along the top row; the cell where they meet is the arcana the fusion produces. Magician down the side and Hierophant across the top meet on Devil. Order never matters — the chart is symmetrical, so Hierophant × Magician lands on the same cell. The chart settles the arcana only. Which persona of that arcana you actually get depends on the two base levels, and that is what the calculator works out.
- A name such as Devil is the arcana produced, and it links to that arcana's section of the persona list.
- An — marks a pairing with no normal fusion: it produces nothing at all.
- Hovering a cell, or tabbing to it, lights up its whole row and column so you can trace it back to both headers.
- The diagonal is an arcana fused with itself. For every fusable arcana it returns its own arcana, but the level rule flips: the result is picked searching down from the calculated level, where normal fusion searches up. (World is the exception — it never fuses normally, its diagonal included.)
- 3 named pairs override this table entirely — special fusions like Belial × Nebiros → Alice. The calculator applies those first; everything else follows the chart.
The chart
511 of 576 cells produce a result. Scroll the table sideways to reach the later arcana.
Skip past the chartWhere the empty cells are
65 of the 576 cells produce nothing, and 47 of those are a single arcana: World. Its row and its column are empty end to end, because every World persona in Golden comes from a special fusion — no ordinary pairing reaches that arcana. That leaves 9 pairings that are dead ends in their own right:
- Magician × Star
- Strength × Judgement
- Death × Judgement
- Temperance × Judgement
- Devil × Judgement
- Tower × Judgement
- Star × Judgement
- Moon × Judgement
- Sun × Judgement
How this chart was checked
The grid is generated at build time from the fusion table the calculator uses. Nothing on this page is typed in by hand, so for normal cross-arcana fusion the chart and the calculator cannot drift apart: if one is wrong, both are wrong, and a correction fixes both at once. The named special pairs and the same-arcana level rule live in their own data and code paths, which is why they are called out separately above.
That table was transcribed from two independent published sources, which agreed on every cell and on the chart being symmetrical. It was also compared cell by cell against the original 2008 Persona 4: the 21 arcana the two games share are identical, and what Golden adds is the Jester and Aeon rows and columns.
